Geneva Airport[a] (IATA: GVA, ICAO: LSGG), formerly and still unofficially known as Cointrin Airport, is an international airport of Geneva, the second most populous city in Switzerland. It is located 4 km (2.5 mi) northwest of the city centre. It surpassed the 15-million-passengers-a-year mark for the first time in December 2014.
